The downside is that this mana is tied to an incredibly fragile creature

It doesnt require any particular synergy to be good, so it slots easily into any white deck, especially ones that want to ramp on turn two (which are most of them)

The mechanic is almost certainly not evergreen, with the name of the set carrying a small amount of the crime spree flavor, but theres no reason why we wont see it pop up again in the future

It may all very well add up to a pile of Jank, but I wont at all be surprised to see Wrenn & Six post some MTGO 5-0 leagues at some point in the near future
